Gilla Brewing Company was founded by Brad Andersen and Alex Shillings, home brewers and craft beer enthusiasts, that shared a dream. Proudly serving as Ascension Parish’s first brewery, we specialize in fruited sours, New England IPA’s, pastry stouts and traditional ales and lagers.

 

As a micro-brewery, our small batch sizes allow us to constantly try new and exciting things with the beers we brew, and also means there is something new and different on tap when you visit our taproom.

 

Thanks to the immense support we received from family, friends and the community, we were able to open our doors on October 26, 2019, and look forward to serving you for years to come.
